Terms & Conditions (UK)

This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”) on which we supply any of the products (“Products”) listed on our website https://tapedpatches.com (the “Site”) to you.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before ordering any Products from the Site. By ordering any Products, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. You can print a copy by selecting the print option from the “File” menu of your browser.

Use of the Site is also subject to our Website Terms of Use, whether or not you order any Products from us. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

2. How the contract is formed between you and us

2.1 Placing an order

You may place an order to purchase a Product by following the on-screen prompts on the Site. You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors up until the point you submit your order.

Once an order is submitted, changes may not be possible. If you need help, contact us as soon as possible at hello@tapedpatches.com.

2.2 Order confirmation and acceptance

After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order and providing an order number and summary. This does not mean your order has been accepted.

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase Products. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. A contract is formed only when we send you an email confirming that the Product has been dispatched (the “Dispatch Confirmation”).

2.3 Multiple items

Each contract relates only to the Products confirmed as dispatched in the Dispatch Confirmation. If your order contains multiple Products shipped separately, each contract is formed when we send the Dispatch Confirmation for each shipment.

2.4 Right to refuse orders

We may choose not to accept your order for any reason and will not be liable to you in those circumstances.

2.5 When we may be unable to process an order

We may be unable to process your order if:

  • the Product is out of stock or discontinued; or

  • there is an issue with payment authorisation or verification.

2.6 Age requirements

Certain Products may be subject to legal age restrictions. Where applicable, you must not order Products if you do not meet the relevant legal age requirement.


3. Delivery

3.1 Delivery options

We will deliver the Products to you in accordance with the delivery option selected at checkout.

3.2 Delivery address

Delivery will be made to the address specified in your order. We cannot deliver items within the same order to multiple addresses.

3.3 Delivery charges

Delivery charges (if any) will be shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Please ensure you are satisfied with the delivery costs prior to completing your purchase.


4. Risk and ownership

4.1 Risk

Once delivered, the Products become your responsibility. Except in relation to Products that are damaged, faulty, or incorrectly delivered, we will not accept liability for loss or damage after delivery.

4.2 Ownership

Ownership of the Products passes to you when we receive full payment for the Products and delivery has taken place (whichever occurs later).


5. Price and payment

5.1 Prices

The price of any Products will be as quoted on the Site, except in cases of obvious error.

5.2 Taxes and delivery

Prices shown include UK VAT where applicable, but exclude delivery costs unless stated otherwise. Delivery costs will be added at checkout once you select a delivery method.

5.3 Price changes

Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders for which a Dispatch Confirmation has already been sent.

5.4 Payment

Payment must be made in full before we dispatch your order. We accept major credit and debit cards and other payment methods shown at checkout.

5.5 Card authorisation

All card payments are subject to validation checks and authorisation by your card issuer. If your issuer refuses to authorise payment, we will not accept your order and will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

5.6 Pricing errors

If a Product is incorrectly priced, we may either:

  • contact you for instructions before dispatch; or

  • reject the order and notify you.


6. Cancellation, returns and refunds

6.1 Your right to cancel

You may cancel your order:

  • at any stage before dispatch; and

  • up to 14 days after you receive the Products, in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

6.2 Exceptions to cancellation

You may not cancel an order for:

  • sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery (unless faulty or incorrect); or

  • personalised items (unless faulty or incorrect).

6.3 Returning Products

If you cancel after dispatch, you must return the Products to us. You must take reasonable care of the Products and return them within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.

Unless Products are faulty or incorrect, you are responsible for return shipping costs and for the Products until they are received by us.

6.4 Condition of returns

Returned Products must be unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging where possible. You may handle Products only as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

6.5 Refunds

After we receive your return (or proof of return), we will refund payments received for the Products, including standard outbound delivery costs (if applicable), within 14 days.

We may deduct an amount for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the Products.

Refunds are made using the same payment method originally used.

6.6 Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If Products are faulty, damaged on arrival, or incorrect, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6.7 Your legal rights

Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.


7. Product information and disclaimer

Products sold on the Site are intended for general wellness and lifestyle support. Content on the Site is for informational purposes only and is not medical advice.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication, or have concerns about product suitability, you should consult a healthcare professional before use.


8. Our liability

8.1

We are under a legal duty to supply Products that are in conformity with the contract. We accept no liability for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses (including loss of profits, contracts, goodwill, or opportunity).

8.2

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

  • any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

8.3

You must follow all instructions provided with Products. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse or failure to follow instructions.


9. Events outside our control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control.


10. General

10.1 Severability

If any provision is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted and the remaining provisions shall remain in force.

10.2 Changes

We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time by updating them on the Site. Any changes will not affect purchases made before the change is implemented.

10.3 No waiver

Failure by us to enforce a right does not result in a waiver of that right.

10.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms & Conditions.

10.5 Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory local consumer law applies.

Purchases can be concluded in English only.
